Privacy and data handling

A plain description of what this website collects, how it is used, and where responsibility sits when an opportunity progresses to a licensing partner.

01

Information we collect through this site

The enquiry form collects business contact details (name, work email, job title, company, company website), descriptive company information (industry, approximate employee count, years in operation), the business systems you select, and an optional free-text description of your workflows.

02

What we never ask for here

SkolData does not receive, possess, or access company datasets. We do not ask for confidential datasets, customer records, personal data about your customers or employees, credentials, or access to your systems. Please do not include sensitive or confidential information in the free-text field.

03

How we use it

Submitted information is used to understand your company, assess at a high level whether an operational-data opportunity may exist, and contact you about that enquiry. Inquiry records are not publicly readable.

04

Sharing

If an opportunity looks realistic and you choose to proceed, relevant descriptive information may be shared with an licensing partner so they can evaluate the opportunity with you directly. We discuss this with you first.

05

Downstream agreements

Any actual data arrangement is governed by an agreement between your company and the licensing partner. That agreement, rather than this website, defines scope, ownership, licensing, retention, de-identification, confidentiality and security obligations. Your legal and security teams should review it.

06

Retention and requests

Enquiry records are retained only as long as needed for the purposes above. You can ask us to update or delete your enquiry information at any time by replying to any message from us.
